Transition cow failures — ketosis, metritis, mastitis, retained placenta — are the costliest events in dairy production. The default response relies heavily on antibiotics that face increasing regulatory and consumer scrutiny.

Verdis Bio was founded on the belief that nature, when precisely engineered and rigorously validated, can deliver outcomes that meet or exceed conventional interventions — without the downstream consequences of antibiotic use.
