The active phenolic compounds in oregano essential oil — carvacrol and thymol — provide natural antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory action in the lower gut. Microencapsulation protects these volatiles through rumen degradation and delivers them to the lower intestinal tract, supporting gut health during the periparturient transition and post-weaning stress periods.
Yeast Cell Wall
Beta-glucans & MOS
Yeast cell wall extracts contain beta-1,3/1,6-glucans that bind to Dectin-1 receptors on immune cells, priming the innate immune response before pathogen challenge. MOS (mannanoligosaccharides) competitively bind to type-1 fimbriae on gram-negative bacteria, preventing intestinal colonisation.
