Microencapsulation protects these volatiles through the rumen and delivers them to the lower intestinal tract.
Yeast Cell Wall
Beta-glucans & MOS
Yeast cell wall extracts contain beta-1,3/1,6-glucans that bind to Dectin-1 receptors on immune cells, priming the innate immune response before pathogen challenge. MOS (mannanoligosaccharides) competitively bind to type-1 fimbriae on gram-negative bacteria, preventing intestinal colonisation.
